Jmenuji se Helena Sochnová a pod značkou Helienka tvořím keramiku a autorské šperky. Obdivuji tvary, které nepůsobí dokonale ani uhlazeně. Povrchy, kterých se chcete dotýkat a objevovat je i hmatem. Má díla v sobě nesou klid, stopu lidských rukou a občas i kousek náhody. V keramice pracuji také s technikou RAKU, která pochází z Japonska a při níž o výsledku spolurozhoduje oheň a kouř. V mých špercích často najdete pravé říční perly nebo zlato. Tvořím věci, které nejsou určeny jen k dívání. Chci, aby byly součástí vašeho každodenního života – abyste je nosili, používali a dotýkali se jich. Aby byly vaše. What inspires me? Nature, water, the sea and Him. My name is Helena Sochnová. I create ceramics and original jewellery under the brand name Helienka. I admire shapes that aren’t perfect or polished. Surfaces you want to touch and explore with your sense of touch. My works embody tranquillity, the touch of human hands, and sometimes a bit of chance. In my ceramics, I also work with the RAKU technique, which originates from Japan and in which fire and smoke play a decisive role in the final result. In my jewellery, you’ll often find real river pearls or gold. I create things that aren’t just meant to be observed. I want them to be part of everyday life — for you to wear them, use them, and touch them. For them to be yours.
